About Me

Michelle Schulten

Interior Designer

With an unconventional and richly layered background, I bring a unique perspective to interior design. My education spans a B.S. in Biology, an MBA, and a BFA in Interior Design—each adding depth to how I understand environments, people, and problem-solving.

Before entering the design field, I worked as a chemist, stockbroker, and small business manager, experiences that strengthened my analytical thinking, communication, and strategic planning skills. This diverse foundation helps me see connections across systems and informs my holistic approach to design.

At the heart of my practice is a passion for 3D modeling. I use Revit and Enscape to visualize concepts, communicate design intent, and refine spatial relationships throughout development. My strength in space planning and functional layout design ensures interiors that balance practicality, beauty, and purpose.

I blend comprehensive research with creative intuition to craft thoughtful, human-centered spaces—and above all, I value collaboration, curiosity, and design that tells meaningful stories.
