Concept & Design Execution 

This project reinterprets South Carolina’s Low Country vernacular through a sophisticated, contemporary lens. Traditional raised foundations, deep wraparound porches, and tall shuttered windows are employed not only for climate resilience but to create a sculptural architectural presence that engages the marshfront landscape. Material selections such as Savannah brick, painted lap siding, and hand-crafted woodwork reinforce a sense of authenticity while elevating the home’s tactile character.

 

Inside, the design carries forward a narrative of understated luxury rooted in coastal simplicity. A soft, mineral-inspired palette and warm neutral tones establish a serene foundation, while natural materials—hickory flooring, woven textures, brushed metals, and linen upholstery—introduce depth and warmth. Tailored furnishings, refined architectural detailing, and modern lighting add clarity and sophistication without sacrificing comfort.
